Historic First: U.S. Navy Unmanned Surface Vessel Rescues Two Downed Apache Pilots in Strait of Hormuz

A U.S. Navy unmanned surface vessel operated by Task Force 59 located and rescued two Army aviators who crashed their AH-64 Apache helicopter into the Strait of Hormuz off Oman, marking the first time an autonomous unmanned vessel has performed a personnel rescue mission in U.S. military history.
