Chongqing Party Secretary Inspects CW Drone's Wushan Facility, Calls for Scaled Low-Altitude Logistics Deployment
On June 18, Chongqing Municipal Party Secretary Yuan Jiajun visited CW Drone (Zongheng Co.) in Wushan County to review its heavy-lift logistics drone operations and low-altitude economy initiatives. The inspection focused on the PH-120 drone, which carries up to 100 kg with a full-load endurance exceeding 20 minutes. Yuan urged broader application scenarios, commercial model innovation, and scaled deployment, reinforcing Wushan's ambition to become the 'Low-Altitude City of the Three Gorges.'

Highlights
- Chongqing Party Secretary Yuan Jiajun inspected CW Drone's Wushan facility on June 18, 2025, urging scaled low-altitude logistics deployment and expanded commercial applications.
- The CW PH-120 heavy-lift drone features a 100 kg maximum payload and over 20 minutes of full-load endurance, making it one of Chongqing's 44 officially endorsed low-altitude equipment application scenarios.
- During the 2025 crisp plum harvest, CW Drone's fleet cut Wushan's river-crossing time from 30 minutes by boat to just 3 minutes, demonstrating the 'first kilometer' logistics value of heavy-lift drones.
- Wushan County is Chongqing's only county-level pilot zone for low-altitude equipment industry development, targeting the title of 'Low-Altitude City of the Three Gorges.'
- CW Drone is fully integrated into Wushan's 'Unified Flight Network' platform, supporting urban surveillance, emergency rescue, and smart governance operations on a routine basis.
Chongqing Party Secretary Inspects CW Drone's Wushan Facility, Calls for Scaled Low-Altitude Logistics Deployment
On June 18, Yuan Jiajun, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, visited CW Drone's (Zongheng Share Co.) Wushan facility during an inspection tour of Wushan County. The visit focused on the company's work in county-level low-altitude economy development, particularly its innovations in heavy-lift logistics drones, disaster prevention and relief, and public services. Accompanying Yuan were Deputy Municipal Party Secretary Chen Xinwu, municipal leaders Liu Shangjin and Jiang Guojie, and county officials Liu Benwan and Luo Wei.
During the inspection, Secretary Yuan stressed the importance of seizing the opportunities presented by the low-altitude economy's innovative development. He called on the company to actively expand application scenarios, continuously innovate business models, diversify its low-altitude manufacturing product lines, and steadily raise the level of scaled deployment. As the only county-level pilot zone for low-altitude equipment industry development in Chongqing Municipality, Wushan County is working to establish itself as the "Low-Altitude City of the Three Gorges," with CW Drone serving as one of the core forces driving that strategy forward.
PH-120 Heavy-Lift Logistics Drone Draws Attention
A highlight of the inspection was the briefing on the CW PH-120 heavy-lift logistics drone. The aircraft offers a maximum payload of 100 kg and a full-load endurance of more than 20 minutes, making it well-suited for transporting firefighting equipment, emergency supplies, and agricultural produce in mountainous terrain. Early this year, the PH-120 was officially included by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology in the city's 44 typical application scenarios for low-altitude equipment, cementing its status as a benchmark case in the logistics sector.
Solving the "First Kilometer" Problem for Mountain Agricultural Products
Beyond product performance, Secretary Yuan placed particular emphasis on business model innovation that enables low-altitude technology to serve public welfare. He specifically called for deepening practical cooperation with local logistics companies and large-scale farmers, using a "low-altitude + logistics" model to tackle the "first kilometer" challenge of getting mountain-grown agricultural products to market.
Wushan County's own experience already offers a compelling example. During the 2025 crisp plum harvest season, a CW Drone transport fleet conducted cross-river relay operations, slashing the river-crossing time from 30 minutes by agricultural boat or 2 hours by road vehicle to just 3 minutes by air. This aerial corridor not only solved the problem of getting agricultural produce out of the mountains but also validated the efficiency of heavy-lift drones in complex terrain, providing a reliable operational model for logistics support during Chongqing's main flood season.
Deep Integration into the "Unified Flight Network" Low-Altitude Government Platform
As a key pillar of Wushan's county-level low-altitude economy, CW Drone has leveraged its full range of drones and AI technologies to deeply integrate into Wushan County's "Unified Flight Network" (一網統飛) low-altitude government services platform. The company now provides routine operational services across multiple domains, including urban surveillance, emergency rescue, and smart grassroots governance.
CW Drone stated that it will continue to implement the directives from this inspection, focusing on low-altitude logistics as the primary driver of scaled commercial application. The company plans to iterate its heavy-lift drone product line, deepen collaboration with local logistics providers, farmers, and emergency management departments, and continue enriching landmark "low-altitude +" use cases. The goal is to make low-altitude logistics standard equipment for mountain agricultural distribution and emergency supply delivery, demonstrating the company's commitment to modernizing county-level development.
