
China Bans Procurement of Products from 46 U.S. Defense Firms, Including Lockheed, Raytheon, and Boeing
China's Ministry of Finance issued a formal notice on June 22, 2025, barring government procurement of products from 46 U.S. companies, effective immediately. The list includes major defense contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing Defense, and General Dynamics, as well as drone and AI defense tech firms including Anduril Industries, Shield AI, AeroVironment, and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. U.S.-funded enterprises operating within China are exempt from the restrictions.
