U.S. Air Force Selects Anduril for CCA Program Production Phase — First New Fighter Contractor in Over 50 Years
The U.S. Air Force has officially selected defense technology company Anduril to enter the production phase of the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program. Under the contract, Anduril will deliver production-representative FQ-44 aircraft to support ongoing flight testing, system verification, and eventual operational deployment. The transition from prototype to production took just two years, making Anduril the first new company to win a fighter aircraft contract in more than half a century.
