Rafael Unveils 'Hunter Eagle' Kinetic Interceptor Drone Designed for Low-Altitude Counter-UAS Operations

Israeli defense giant Rafael Advanced Defense Systems has introduced the Hunter Eagle, a new VTOL interceptor drone that destroys hostile drones through direct kinetic impact rather than an explosive warhead. If a mission is aborted, the system autonomously returns to base and lands vertically, rapidly readying itself for the next intercept. The platform is purpose-built to address the growing threat of low-altitude, small unmanned systems on the modern battlefield.
