
FAA and EASA Pledge Deeper Aviation Safety Cooperation to Address Rapid Technological Innovation
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral aviation safety cooperation at a joint international safety conference held June 16–18, 2026, in Chantilly, Virginia. The two regulators agreed to enhance information sharing, advance data-driven safety management, streamline certification for new technologies, and accelerate the safe integration of automated cockpit systems.
