German aviation manufacturer MD Aircraft GmbH has announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Seoul-headquartered aviation technology company Solyu Company, Ltd.
Order Scope and Intended Applications
Under the terms of the LOI, Solyu intends to acquire 20 MDA1 electric aircraft, with options to purchase an additional 20 units, bringing the potential total to 40 aircraft. The fleet is expected to support domestic regional passenger transport operations in South Korea, as well as sustainable aviation mobility initiatives across South Korea and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
