Ondas Subsidiary Sentrycs to Integrate Cyber-over-RF Technology into Lockheed Martin's Sanctum Counter-Drone System
Ondas has announced that its subsidiary Sentrycs will integrate its Cyber-over-RF technology into Lockheed Martin's counter-UAS solution, Sanctum. The collaboration aims to bolster drone threat defenses for military forces, homeland security, and critical infrastructure against evolving UAS threats, including coordinated swarm attacks.

Highlights
- Ondas subsidiary Sentrycs has entered a formal collaboration with Lockheed Martin to integrate Cyber-over-RF technology into the Sanctum counter-UAS platform.
- Sentrycs' Cyber-over-RF solution enables detection, tracking, and takeover of unauthorized drones without jamming, spoofing, or kinetic engagement.
- Sanctum uses AI, cloud-enabled data fusion, and a modular open architecture to detect and neutralize aerial threats including coordinated drone swarms in real time.
- Lockheed Martin Senior Program Manager Matt Bahnemann stated the integration will expand layered sensing and countermeasure options for Sanctum operators.
- The integrated system targets military forces, homeland security agencies, and critical infrastructure protection as primary use cases.
Ondas Subsidiary Sentrycs Partners with Lockheed Martin to Strengthen Sanctum Counter-Drone System
Ondas has announced that its subsidiary Sentrycs — a counter-UAS (C-UAS) technology company specializing in Cyber-over-RF technology — has entered into a formal collaboration with Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT).
Under the agreement, Sentrycs' Cyber-over-RF technology will be integrated into Lockheed Martin's counter-drone solution, Sanctum, providing protection against evolving drone threats for military forces, homeland security operations, and critical assets.
Overview of the Sanctum System
In a joint statement, the two companies described Sanctum as follows: "Sanctum is purpose-built to address complex drone threats, including coordinated swarm attacks and rapidly evolving UAS tactics. The system combines advanced artificial intelligence, cloud-enabled data fusion, and a modular defense architecture to detect, track, analyze, and neutralize aerial threats in real time. Designed with interoperability and mission flexibility at its core, Sanctum integrates multiple sensors, effectors, and command-and-control systems within a unified operational framework, delivering scalable protection across diverse defensive environments."
The Role of Cyber-over-RF Technology
In this collaboration, Sentrycs' solution will add a precise cyber detection and mitigation layer to Sanctum's multi-domain architecture. Sentrycs' Cyber-over-RF technology operates directly at the communications protocol level, enabling operators to detect, identify, track, and take control of unauthorized drones — without the use of jamming, spoofing, or kinetic engagement — and without causing collateral interference to surrounding communications infrastructure.
Matt Bahnemann, Senior Manager of Program Management at Lockheed Martin, commented: "Sanctum is a modular, open counter-drone architecture designed to rapidly integrate advanced sensing and mitigation technologies. Adding Sentrycs' Cyber-over-RF capability will expand the layered sensing and countermeasure options available to operators, and strengthen Sanctum's overall ability to address continuously evolving drone threats."
About Sentrycs and Ondas
Sentrycs is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ondas, focused on counter-drone solutions built around Cyber-over-RF technology. The platform enables precise interception and takeover of unauthorized drones without impacting the surrounding environment, and is designed for military, homeland security, and critical infrastructure protection applications.
