Israeli automotive-grade LiDAR sensor platform provider Innoviz has announced a partnership with AI-driven perception and autonomy software company Cogniteam Ltd to develop an advanced counter-UAS (C-UAS) perception module. The solution combines Innoviz's LiDAR technology with Cogniteam's AI-powered 3D analytics engine to deliver precise drone detection, localization, tracking, and classification while significantly reducing false-positive rates. Target applications include perimeter protection, critical infrastructure security, and border surveillance.
