The American University Kyiv (AUK) recently held its first undergraduate commencement ceremony — a landmark moment for an institution that was established just three weeks before Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Partnership with Arizona State University

AUK was co-founded with Arizona State University (ASU), which has continued to provide sustained academic support to help AUK develop its curriculum, strengthen institutional capacity, and maintain educational continuity throughout the conflict. Through faculty collaboration, shared academic resources, and institutional mentorship, ASU has actively contributed to AUK's mission of delivering internationally recognized higher education to Ukrainian students.
