Dumont's Background and Career
MBDA described the incoming CEO as follows: "Jean-Brice Dumont has extensive international experience in the aerospace and defence industry, having served as Engineering Director on the executive committees of Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Commercial, and Airbus Group over the past 14 years."
Dumont was based in Spain, where he led Airbus Defence and Space's military aviation systems and air power division for five years. Over the past five years, he has focused on strengthening the resilience of critical programmes such as the A400M, while driving modernisation efforts across in-service fleets including the Eurofighter, A330 MRTT, and C295 — all in parallel with industrial capacity expansion.
