Sweden's Nordic Air Defence Publicly Debuts K100XR Anti-Drone Interceptor

Swedish defence technology company Nordic Air Defence has completed the first public live demonstration of its K100XR anti-drone interceptor. Weighing approximately 0.5 kg and constructed from carbon fibre, the K100XR can exceed 350 km/h, engage targets at ranges beyond 3 km, and loiter for over 20 minutes. Equipped with onboard AI and an infrared seeker, it can operate autonomously in radio-silent mode, making it resilient against electronic warfare. The system is primarily designed to counter Shahed-type loitering munitions and reconnaissance drones, with field trials in Ukraine planned.
