Israeli Startup Esh-Tech Unveils DroneLight Laser Air Defense System Capable of Neutralizing Over 30 Drones Per Minute
Israeli startup Esh-Tech has introduced DroneLight, a high-rate directed-energy weapon designed to counter drone swarm attacks. The system uses rapid laser pulses to neutralize a single drone in 1–2 seconds, achieving a sustained engagement rate of over 30 drones per minute. With an effective range of 1 kilometer and a power consumption of only around 4 kilowatts, DroneLight integrates radar, acoustic, and electro-optical tracking for continuous target acquisition.
