France's DGA Orders 5,000 Additional Sonora Drones from Harmattan AI in Fivefold Contract Expansion

France's Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) has expanded its order for Harmattan AI's Sonora micro-drone fivefold, adding 5,000 units following successful delivery and validation of an initial 1,000-unit contract. The Sonora is a 1.8 kg quadrotor with GPS-free autonomous target tracking, a unit price under €1,000, and approximately 40 minutes of endurance. Harmattan AI has also established a Paris-region facility capable of producing 10,000 drones per month and signed a strategic partnership with Morocco's Royal Armed Forces.
