Spain Hosts SPATIO Project Open Day Showcasing U-space Drone Airspace Management Services
The European SPATIO project recently held an open day in A Coruña, Spain, demonstrating drone traffic management (UTM) systems under real-world conditions. Led by Spanish air navigation service provider ENAIRE through its R&D subsidiary CRIDA, the project runs from 2023 to 2026, involves more than 20 European partners, and has received €7 million in EU funding under the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking.
