Venetz Aerospace Becomes First UK Company to Receive CAA Design Organisation Approval for Electric Motors and Propellers
UK electric propulsion system designer and manufacturer Venetz Aerospace has announced it has received a Part 21J Design Organisation Approval (DOA) from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) covering electric motors and propellers — the first such approval in the UK to span both manned and unmanned aircraft applications. The milestone paves the way for full Type Certification of its propulsion systems, supporting high-risk drone missions and safe operations over populated areas.
