AeroVironment Awarded $500M IDIQ Contract to Support JIATF-401 Domestic Shield Counter-Drone Program

AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV) has been awarded a sole-source, three-year, $500 million Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to support the Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401) Domestic Shield program. The contract covers the delivery of multi-layered Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) and Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) capabilities to protect U.S. critical infrastructure and military installations from drone threats.
