
SASC $1.14 Trillion Defense Bill Proposes Dedicated Drone Warfare Command; Former South Korean President Yoon Sentenced to 30 Years
The U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee has advanced a $1.14 trillion defense policy bill that includes a provision to establish a dedicated drone warfare command. Separately, former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has been sentenced to 30 years in prison in a case involving drones. The FAA is also actively pursuing rule changes to permit BVLOS drone operations, while battlefield lessons from Ukraine continue to reshape modern military doctrine.
