Teledyne FLIR OEM has introduced the Boson SX8, a long-wave infrared (LWIR) thermal imaging module designed for defense, industrial, and UAS applications. Claimed as the first mass-producible, NDAA-compliant uncooled thermal module, it combines SXGA (1280×1024) resolution with a compact form factor and is manufactured in the United States.
